The Library will be open for limited hours and services beginning Tuesday, June 2, 2020. Staff is available to assist you in person during these hours. You may also reach us by phone (401-847-8720) or email (firstname.lastname@example.org) during open hours.
How can I request an item?
You may place holds from home using the Library catalog. As of June 15, the limit on the number of holds is 10 per card. For assistance, call us at 401-847-8720 x208, email us at email@example.com or stop by during open hours.
I was notified that my item is ready for pick up. How can I pick up my item?
Please use the parking lot entrance and look for your bagged item(s) on the tables, they are arranged by last name. Ask for assistance at the Welcome Desk.
Is printing available?
For a limited time only, the Library is offering free black & white printing – for up to 10 pages. Public computers are available in the lower lobby for printing and Internet access. Or click here to send us print requests from your mobile device for pickup (must be picked up same day).
Is 3D printing available?
Yes. Please use this form to submit your 3D print request. You will be notified when your project is ready for pickup.
Are computers available?
Yes. We have a limited number of computers available that are first-come, first-served, with time limits. They are located in the Spring Street lobby. You may have to wait to get access to a computer.
Is the Library accepting book donations?
Hold on to your donations until further notice. We do not have staff on hand to process donations of books at this time.
Can I return my items to the Library?
We are now accepting book returns in the book drops outdoors and inside during open hours. When returning items inside the Library please use the book slots by the Circulation desk.
Is scanning available?
Yes, we have a scanner for your use in the Spring Street lobby.
Are faxing and notary services available?
Faxing and notary services are available in the Administration office on the lower lobby, please call ahead 401-847-8720 x100.
Is the Newport room open? Is the microfilm reader available?
The Newport room remains closed. Staff is able to provide limited research services. Please submit your questions to firstname.lastname@example.org. The microfilm reader has been moved to the Maker Lab and is available first-come, first-served. Call 847-8720 x208 for more information.
