Does your teacher require you to read books within a certain Lexile range? Use this site to calculate your Lexile number (if you don’t already know it) and then find books within that range that interest you.
Find a book using one of our handy in-house booklists compiled by subject, genre or both.
Most books on these lists can be found at the Newport Public Library. Books found only at other RI libraries can be requested and sent here free of charge. It usually takes 3-5 days.

Books found only at other RI libraries can be requested and sent to Newport Library at NO COST to you. Click the request button in the catalog entry and follow the screen directions or see a librarian for assistance. Books usually take 3-5 days to arrive; longer if there is a waiting list.
