Fun Programs Coming Up

Trick or Treat @ the Library

Friday, October 31st  from 9:30 am – 5:45 pm

Trick or Treaters Children are invited to stop by the Children’s Desk in costume on Halloween from 9:30am to 5:45pm for a free treat.  One treat per child while supplies last.


Every Other Monday from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm, November 3rd – December 29th

Lego Club Children ages 6-12 are invited to drop-in to our brand new LEGO Club!  All materials will be provided for this free program.  LEGO creations must stay at the library, so bring a camera!  Please leave your own LEGOs at home so that you don’t lose your favorite pieces.  Held in the John Clarke Children’s Program Room.  No registration is required.  For more information visit the Children’s Desk or call 401-847-8720 ext. 204.

Bilingual Storytime

Saturday, November 8th at 11:00 am

Local Spanish teacher Dana Edward Ramey will provide a Bilingual Storytime for families with children ages 3-12.  This storytime presents children’s books in English and Spanish, uses songs and poems and provides a related activity. No registration is required, just drop in.  All materials will be provided for this free program.  Held in the John Clarke Children’s Program Room.

The Children’s Department offers a wide variety of programming for children of all ages. From our preschool storytimes to the Book Buddies Book Club for the upper elementary set to summer programs for Tweens and special events during the year.
