All storytimes are held in the John Clarke Children’s Program Room. No registration is required for storytimes.
Baby Bookworms – Birth to 24 Months
Thursdays at 9:30 AM, Sept. 12 – Oct. 24
This program uses read-alouds and nursery rhymes to help babies learn the rhythms and patterns of speech. Time will be provided for board books, play and a chance for parents to network together.
Tales for Tots – Ages 2 to 4
Tuesdays at 10:30 AM, Sept. 10 – Oct. 22
This program uses read-alouds, activity rhymes, songs, and a craft. It helps young children with developing social skills and advances their interest in books and reading.
Saturday Stories – Ages 1 to 4
Saturdays at 10:00am, Sept. 7 – Oct. 26
This program uses read-alouds, activity rhymes, songs, and a simple craft. *No storytime Sept. 21*
STEAM Storytime – Ages 3 to 5
Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 10:30 AM
Kids will learn simple space science concepts through stories, rhymes, songs, activities and crafts. STEAM helps foster science, technology, engineering, art and math skills to keep kids well rounded and engaged in critical thinking.
Preschool Book Club – Ages 3 to 5
Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 10:30 AM
Get your child ready for school with this fun program featuring books, songs, and rhymes about a specific topic or author, followed by an activity or craft related to the day’s theme.
