Temporary Holds Delay

Dear Patrons:

All Rhode Island public libraries are experiencing a temporary slowdown in the delivery system that transports materials between libraries in the state.  Items place on hold that are owned by other libraries will take longer to get to your library.

If you check out a book or DVD from Newport Public Library, please try to return it to Newport Public Library.

We apologize for this interruption in service, and we are doing everything we can to work around the problem.

As always, please ask library staff to help you locate the materials you need.
